Boat Diving Experience – Cave & Amphorae Exploration

Experience scuba diving in Albania with a full-day boat diving trip to Porto Palermo, a tectonic peninsula considered one of the most beautiful diving locations in Europe.
This guided experience is designed for certified divers who seek exploration, underwater history, caves, and exceptional visibility in pristine Mediterranean waters.
This tour combines nature, archaeology, and adventure, offering the opportunity to dive near ancient amphorae and underwater formations in one of southern Albania’s most scenic bays.

Why Dive in Porto Palermo?

Porto Palermo is a unique dive site thanks to:
  • Excellent water clarity and visibility
  • Underwater cave formations
  • Archaeological remains and ancient amphorae
  • Rich marine life and photogenic underwater scenery
  • Historic setting near Ali Pasha Castle
Ships traveling the ancient maritime route from Corfu to Italy historically stopped in Porto Palermo, and ceramic amphorae from the 2nd century B.C. have been found on the seabed, adding a strong historical dimension to the dives.
